Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi, India
At the invitation of the Indian Government, for the IMD to perform a formal 90 day evaluation and acceptance, Potomac Aviation supplied a MicroTower at the Safdarjung Airport. Safdarjung is the highest-security private airport in the middle of New Delhi, used only for the transport of the highest government officials. Overlooking the runway are the headquarters offices of the Airport Authority of India (AAI), Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Directorate of Civil Aviation, and nearby headquarters of the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD).
